The Japanese athlete, born in 1976, counts 6 Olympic Games (Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016) and 6 World Championships (Den Haag 1994, Rome 1998, Jerez de la Frontera 2002 , Aachen 2006, Lexington 2010, Caen 2014 and Herning 2022).
Last but not least, the participation in 2 World Cup Finals (Las Vegas 2000 and Las Vegas 2007). Finally, three medals obtained in the Asian Games: individual and team bronze at Incheon 2014 and a team silver at Jakarta-Pulomas 2000.
